I can't afford to replace it.

Dude, theyre cheap as hell now. I seen a sandisk 1gb for 25-30 bones.

Mine was an e270, which at the time I paid around 200$. They should be significantly cheaper now but the problem is I can't find any e270s because most of the old e200 series is being replaced by the new Sansa View series. The cheapest of those is 165$. I did find a deal for a 260 for 59$. I might have to jump on that even though it's only 4 gigs. I'll just have to carry less music around until I can afford the new ones.

Now that it's had a few hours to dry, I tried to turn it back on again...

It works

The scroll wheel is a bit screwed up and jumps all over the place and the screen has a bunch of dark spots on it but otherwise everything works fine. The output, the connector cable, the memory.
