F*%! Have you gone completely mad?

Tell us what u bought - seriously interested!

Just put Headroom on your wishlist for now. We just spent close to AUD 100 with psyshop ourselves and if you look at it objectively it is not all that bad because putting your money where your mouth is has to be the choice investment.

One of the albums we are waiting on is Refractions by Protoculture. I knew the title track but thanks to my Brother in Arms - (Benjamin '146+' Evans), who in a humble and utterly unselfish manner handed me the album the same day he got it - I was priviledged enough to get my dirty little ears stuck into imo the most wicked pieces of music I've heard for months.

Yes, the album is from 2003 and you most likely know it and have listened to it until the cows came home but just by faint coincidence that you haven't - please do yourself this favour and have a listen...I bet my lifesavings on it that you will end up drooling over it!

My dear Beat Blog, we are destined to meet in the near future, lets say at 12 midnight on the bar at the joint Ace Ventura will be having his gig for a string of Jaegermeisters - what do ya think?

Got the new Zen Mechanics, Headroom and Killer Buds albums, some compilations from Dacru Records (digging this label a lot lately), a Triac album, a Ticon album, some of the older Xerox & Illumination albums and a few others...

Unfortunately that's only today's music though.

Last night I spent $70 at JB Hi-Fi too, on a Digital Psionics and TPE compilation.

Just checked this week's basket for beatport too, and it's at $56, with a few things from Iboga and some random techno and trance classics.

Bye bye savings.

Ha - I remember when I used to shop for vinyl I was very frugal and would sneer at all the tools coming in and buying 50 records, 49 of which they wouldn't listen to in a year's time, and now I'm essentially doing the same, though I like to think that CDs/mp3's are more of a long-lasting media than vinyl...if you have the brains to do regular backups that is.

Who's "we"?

On the topic of Mr. Evans...being a complete cynic, I have come to conclusion that he is either:

a) a champion drug smasher
b) on some hardcore anti-depressants

No one can possibly be that happy, all the time, can they? But yeah, great bloke, gave me two CDs the first night we met, I'm yet to return the favour. I'm genuinely embarrassed. Next time Ben!

Ha, sounds good, but unfortunately I won't be in attendance. Some other day.
