I've learned to respect pot-holes after blowing out a $250 tire at 140km/h this morning

Tokyo (I assume that's where this is...I've heard about those guys) is insane! What if they need to evacuate in an emergency? What if there's a medical emergency on the train? Wow.
Suddenly the Yonge line doesn't seem so bad. Still not great, but by compariison...

Lol, and I thought here the situation with the overloaded city transport is problematic. Seriously, they are pushing the people like the nazis pushed the jews in the trains during ww2... (sorry for comparing those two but... really... someone might be killed in this japanese train
)

I've noticed this is mostly a city thing. Myself, I do enjoy my personal space and in any event I try to sit as far as possible from where everyone else is sitting. So long as I'm in the city everybody else seems to do the same. When I get to the suburbs it's actually quite frequent when the bus is empty for someone (usually someone old) to come in, sit next to or in front of me and strike up a random conversation.
