I'm going to miss King King. Place has been home to me for years. Best bartender in all of Hollywood. Can't remember a time were I didn't leave there stumbling.

anyone seen Jona before? I've had a good time (if not some of the best times) so far with the Get Physical label crew so debating about possibly club hopping tonight between Adam Freeland and Jona...

I don't know, I went to that party but I got there at like 4am and M.A.N.D.Y. was already on. Plus I was wasted beyond belief and the only thing I remember is weird wonky basslines and this track remixed by Pierce. Sorry lol

First Jona on his own sold me - and now Three? OMG I'm fucking sold! Based on the production quality of Jona's music alone, that's the only reassurance I need to know he is going to throw the fuck down and play some wicked music. And Three, he's one of the best all around DJ's in the world - i.e. he has unparalleled track selection and programming, definitely one of the best I've ever heard. And he's always a pleasure hearing live. Although I'm sad Compression is leaving King King - somehow I feel it was perfect timing because I think it was time for a change. Compression represents forward-thinking electronic music, so with that factor in mind I think it was only a matter of time before it was going to happen anyway. I think it's a great idea Rob and the gang decided to go with a bigger and (possibly) better venue. Two rooms = twice the fun. See you next Friday!

I'm not really going to miss King King. I love the space, but honestly it was starting to get boring going there all the time. It's just a box with a bar so if the vibe isn't 100% on then it gets boring quick. And I try not to stay outside too much since I've missed many a good track because of that.
