What if a DJ was better than all the other djs (trance/house) but no one would let him play.

I always thought I would come up quick, I have been mixing since 2000 and have played once. Radio Stations say no and they play the most god awefull stuff ever. Promotors say they do not support the format and to establish myself on my own and then ask again.

they act kind of weird, I have developed or had developed a repor with one of the locals and he seems to listen but its not like how it was back in the day when people were like yea man I'll help. The only promotor I know let me play once and I had the best damn time ever I mean I had a blast but the other djs yanked the cord out of the mixer. I was told ableton was not the proper format for that venue, but to keep trying and do it on my own but there is only one promotor here is whats funny.

another odd thing someone sent a limo to my job and get this I was so caught off guard that I walked right by it. but yesterday I think someone sent a cab for me, couldnt really see the sign I could be tripping. I guess unattended limos are expensive.

I think I am damn sexy and have the stamina of a racehorse, but I have got the biggest head on the face of the planet so for me to jesus christ pose its not my style. I would rather just sit there or stand and do my thing.

well everything is popular, there is a drum n bass following wich seems to have the hottest chicks. then the locals book all the major talent. Dave Seaman, Miguel Migs, Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren are coming too. So I guess there is something for everyone.

You play the same stuff all the "big tyme" djs play, but you somehow have better track selection?

ok here is my theory on DJing

alot of times DJS put forth these really long intro tracks that it takes like five songs just to get to the heavy stuff. If a song is good like revolver or something then that would be diffrent. then they play like a few good songs and play stuff like for seasons in one day. No offense to the dude that made that Tyas mix. or for example a producer may only play all his own stuff and no one elses and not everyone has solid awesome tracks. But I'm certain I could win a spinoff between any of them. I'll bet money on it.

I used to do that. I had this happy hardcore song my friend gave me from a Jinco cd and played it at like 90BPM it was so cold blooded it was not even funny.
