Why are u telling him to listen to Armin all he said was that the tune was the one he thought was best on the CD

It comes out July 23rd! Who's gonna buy it? ME!!!!!

i listened to it once, didn't really like it at first listen. starts out mellow (which is tolerable) BUT didn't pick up until track #3 Starecase - Faith (Loafer remix). it just lacks the energy that i expect from Tiesto. the mixing is impeccable though, gotta give him that. i may like it after couple more listens but for now, me no impressed.

if you are looking for energy then you are clearly looking in the wrong tiesto album series. ISOS is a dedicated summer CHILLOUT cd.
thus lacking energy. if i recall from the original ISOS. the inside cover did detail his appreciation for his summer in ibiza. more over the summer nights there, so I wouldnt expect a high-energy CD with the name "in search of sunrise" to me its a more laid back beach chilling CD. my image...sitting on a beach chair under an umbrella drinking my corona.

Posted by Plaptop on Jul-09-2002 14:47:

Its all laid back vocals for the most part. Easy on the ears. Might not be bad for trying to interest someone into trance.. A couple listens to and its dull. Not really something you want to listen to with your friends.. or drive to.. maybe sleep to..

I thought some of the mixing kind of sucked as well.

well it is a mix Cd, its not like hes just gonna have one shot at mixing it and if it has mistakes send it out regardless

Yeah, Some little scottish punk called "Barf" reckons he done the mix and just wacked it staright on a CD. Hey you would be supprised because there is one or too little tiny errors on this CD but who the fuck am i to say anything CD rocks !!!!!

Posted by gho on Jul-09-2002 19:08:

Ive listened to it and all I can say is: It lacks the power of ISOS2. That one ruled but the third made even "Mindcircus" less enjoyable with a not so good mixed version.
I love Tiesto, he is the best for me right now, but I spoke the truth.
But, anyway, it is worth listening. I enjoyed, tought not so much as I expected.

Posted by EarnYourKeep on Jul-09-2002 20:28:

this is true...i'll be honest, tiesto broke my trance cherry...
i cried the first time i heard him play in NY...Gatecrasher Party@Limelight - Scott Bond opened for Tiesto. In reality..tiesto does lack the mixing ability...it is true..uncomparable to ferry..i think tiesto just blew up in the states way before corsten. plus tiesto has (as of late) moved to a different trance genre...hopefully the muzak compilations will be better. i still wish the old tiesto style will come back...soft and light..yet fly-able...
trance means "~" to me follow the curves as you fly through space =)

1. Solarstone - Solarcoaster
2. Andain - Summer Calling (Josh Gabriel Mix)
3. Argonaut - Your body is a temple

Most of the time I listen that way to my Isos3, just great songs!

Just be happy that this cd contains a few good old sounding trance songs. It is very rare in this time to find some good trance that isn't cheese. Tisto done it...

Just a nice cd, second best in my opinion (couz nothing can beat Isos1).

About Tisto's mixing skills I certainly argree with you guys, a really degradation compared with years ago.

Solar Stone - Solar Coaster, Starecase - Faith (Loafer Mix), and Andain - Summer Calling are the three best tracks on there. I really like isos3, yeah it's mostly a bunch of mellow tracks, but it's still great.

Posted by pgreeny on Jul-14-2002 08:09:

this is an excellent CD, starts of mellow which is great! mixing is spot on 2

Posted by Plaptop on Jul-15-2002 11:15:

the mixing is spot on??! im scared.. its not all that good..
