where can i get good quality velcro?

i need velcro that will securely fasten to my car console, and apholsty. appreciate the suggestions.

to your console? you mean you want strong glue to stick the velcro to the console?
and what do you mean to your upholstery? you want velcro to stick to your carpets/seats?

i guess you dont know how velcro works if thats what you mean. one side of velcro is loops (soft/fuzzy side) while the other side is hooks. thats why velcro stops working after a while because all the loops are ripped. most materials dont have loops and wont let velcro attach to it.

ottawa street in hamilton between Main and Barton, tons of stores down there that would have that. Since I see you live there. That would be your best bet.

You dont need Velco...

In true TA style, I can turn this thread about velco into a thread about sex

FabricLand?

Posted by djbruuen on Apr-17-2008 22:34:

the reasons i need it:

for the apholstry - the passenger side visor keeps hanging down and wont stay up, so i just want it to stay up so it doesn't look so ghetto.

for the console: put some on the back of my ipod and just stick it on the console

thanks for the hamilton suggestion...any specific place? i'll check out canadian tire, i tried walmart, but they only had cheap stuff where the adhesive side loses grip easily
