Tiesto Elements of Life Blu-Ray

Hi all, I received this yesterday and the quality is awesome.
This is Tiesto live in Copenhagen. It's a 2 disc Blu-Ray in HD 1080i
with a DTS-MA soundtrack.
If you like Tiesto you'll love this.

My understanding is this wont work on us players and there is no plan to release a US bluray version! FU Tiesto!

Yeah, it was his personal decision.

Hi all, I've had a look and you're correct at the moment the Blu-Ray is region B only. My friend had a PS3 from Japan, I'll try my discs on his player just to be sure. There is an SD DVD version available in NTSC and the track listings are identical. I hope this helps.

do you still get headaches from camera angels changing every 3 seconds?

It's not quite that bad m8, There are lots of camera angles but I think the DVD has been edited very well and the soundtrack is awesome.

TIC 2004 was unwatchable because of the editing.

Now you can see his beautiful face in HD!

IMO lighting and pyro and lasers would look cool in HD.

BUT, only 1080i!?

Booo.

1080i? I thought Blu-Ray was 1080p? I'd just get the regular DVD then...

Hi all, after watching all of this Blu-ray I have to agree with Keithos27, there are a lot of camera changes (it gets worse further into the Blu-ray). This is a bit annoying but IMHO this is still worth buying if you like Tiesto. The sound and video quality are very good. Don't worry if your surround amp doesn't support DTS-HD, as long as it supports DTS it should still play ok. The video is only 1080i but unless you have a very big plasma or an HD projector you won't see the difference (I'm using a Pioneer 42" plasma and it looks superb).
If the multiple/quick camera changes annoy you then this may not be for you. Sorry if I've misled anyone.

Yeah, the original TIC DVD from '03 was much easier on the eyes.

I bought it on amazonuk for like 20 euros and it works in my blu-ray player. yes the discs are region b, but I had already preordered it. I just got back in town my first chance to watch and it worked! I was so supprised and excited. I have a sharp hp-20 blu-ray player.

the concert is much better than the second one. I thought the audio was awful in the second one, but the visuals were better than the first. This one on blu-ray at least is great. I call it couch clubbin just kidding
