Yay! Yet another Deadmau5 thread! Woopee!

As for the subject, just heard Solarstone's remix of Radiohead - House Of Cards and it instantly reminded me of Deadmau5 who you all love oh so much.

Actually the latter is how it was supposed to be from day 1 but Hooj Choons changed it to Solar Stone and it has stuck ever since. Only after releases on other labels the name was changed into how they (he) wanted it to be.

still don't know why "house of cards" was remixed... not a big fan of the song when compared to massive tunes like "jigsaw falling into place" and "videotape"... those could be awesome if they got proper remixes...

Probably because the tempo of the song makes it suitable for a remix of this type.

I reckon he's obviously done it to represent the syncopated guitar line in the original song. Not much else you can do really.

How is this track a definitive Deadmau5 style? This style has been around for a while, albeit at higher BPM's but well before Deadmau5.

ps: solarstone > deadmau5.
