i know all those dj's are pricye to book, but i mean if you were to have a big scale event like that i beleiev it would pay off, there is a pretty big following for Richie, Loco, and Carolla alone!

it would be phenomenal, but most of them are probably coming over from sven vath's saturday night dinner party so sharing 1 cab vs flying all of them out to toronto costs more money. i love tech but if you look around at the parties in toronto it doesn't have proven track record to do enough tickets at the clubs, let alone for a festival at 25 cad (approx 15 EURO)

Where does techno/minimal get played in T.O.? I've been getting into it recently via Magda.

Amen woman

for so many reasons
In europe, the local parties are on par with the big-timers.
Raw talent in weird venues with a crowd that is there to hear the DJs drop unreleased D.A.F-influenced bombs and blow everyone's ears off.

Pics from last summer in Heidelberg at a club called Halle 02
Seriously looks like a weirdly large run-down cottage right by the main train station... sick inside - actually an avant-garde art gallery by day.

(pulled two from the website -- www.halle02.de )

These two were a local act... Can't remember the name, but they played heavy industrial EBM

all kinds of wonderful harmless deutschbags <3
I love how in europe there are always more guys dancing than girls... this pic is a classic example
