How pissed are you that Wonderland changed the names to 5 rides?

Paramount sold Wonderland to Cedar Fair 2 years ago. Looks like Cedar Fair is hell bent on not giving Paramount free advertising, lol.

Italian Job: Stunt Track ---> Back Lot Stunt Coaster
Top Gun ---> Flight Deck
Cliffhanger --->Riptide
Tomb Raider ---> Time Warp
Drop Zone ---> Drop Tower
Action F/X Theatre ---> Action Theatre

Top Gun's new name is a disgrace!

I heard someone refer to Top Gun as "Flight Deck, formerly Top Gun" and I didnt get it... Now I do.

I think its kind of sad, but really wont affect the park in any way.

I'm sure that it's also due to copyright and trademark laws preventing non-Paramount affiliated parks from retaining the right to use the names on their rides.

tho on the flipside, props to CedarFair for actually building a new roller coaster (Behemoth) for this season. Paramount did jack in the what 10 plus years since Top Gun was built like back in 1994.

They built the Tomb Raider ride a little while ago, but it sucks.

It seems like it could be for what Diesel was saying. Legality issues...

It's not Canada's PARAMOUNT Wonderland anymore...
It's owned by Cedar Fair Entertainment as of 2006...

Not pissed at all....I'm glad that Cedar's is making a bunch of good changes. Maybe I'll start going to Canada's Wonderland again instead of Cedar Point for a change. It's about damn time!
