Who would you nominate for Mod & Why?

I spoke to swamper so I am starting this thread so we all can have an idea who could possibly become an ACTIVE MOD -crosses fingers-

I think we should each nominate 1 or 2 ppl & Whoever is winning MUST answer these questions.

Would you want to become Mod?

What would you change?

Any suggestions how to make this better?? [my thread] Suggestions are welcome!

I nominate Euphoria & PhonenixBebe.

BOTH have been here a while. Both are active enough and BOTH can lay the smack down when need be.

edit - this isn't for sure YET.. but if we can come up with 1 person then I can bug swamper enough
edit 2- don't take my nominations so serious. I've been an nyta for 1 year. I'll disqualify myself if I have to.

Shes active on here enough, been an active TA since 2004, provides us with livesets and other info relevant to the community etc. and i know she cares about the state of the boards!!! She is also fair and not prone to favoritism or cliquey-ness.

(thx for the mention Melly <3 but i am not on NYTA *nearly* as much as I used to be...)

altho im all for ADDING to any Smackdown when needed, without even having to be ASKED!!

Hopefully we can get this going...

Oh and another thing. Modding nyta isn't going to be a busy everyday job. Most of the time you prob won't even have to do anything.

It's just to make this clutter disappear. There is ATLEAST 2 threads for every party.

Some threads with 0 posts that should be in the party planner thread. It's not like modding music discussion or the COR. Ian is a good mod but you have to PM him with problems. Would be nice for someone to spot it and fix things

G would be a good mod in a few years. He's still relatively new. Right lil bro??

Ian is going to stay.. this person is just a "co-mod" There is no need for more than that.

Actually, this forum is prob going to be the only regional forum with 2 MODS. But Ian is as old school as it gets and though he doesn't post anymore.. he is still "active". He will do things for you if you PM him but he's not always there to catch petty things.

This person is going to be mostly to clean up the clutter. Banning and suspensions are slim to none in this area.

I think this is a great idea and Z would be perfect.

This board needs someone to clean up all the useless posts, merge similar threads and keep all the haters in check.

A lot of trolls on the NYTA board.
