Oxycodone

What's this all about and how does it compare to vicodin?

its similar to heroin and morphine.. a semi synthetic opoid. painkiller analgesic

im not sure on its potency though probably much less then morphine.. ive tried oxycodone before.. just gives you a slight high relaxing care free feeling

and if you do too much or do it too often you'll throw up
and its highly addictive

opioids in general tend to make you constipated i think so once you get off them ur shitting water

I just took a Percocet with Oxycodone in it. Makes me feel stoned... but without the foggy feeling. I get tired and relaxed.

I used to do the 10 mg. ones like 8-10 a day for about a week. My boss at my old job as a going away present he gave me his script of them. After taking more than two its really hard to take a piss or drop a dump. Minor price to pay for the amount of fun IMO

oxycodone = percocet (which is just a brand name) oxycodone is the formula and there are tons of generic brands out there. Generally given for trauma not related to open wounds/cuts/lacerations, etc.
hydrocodone = vicodin (again just the brand name and there are tons of generics out there) Generally given for open wounds/laceration--such as wisdom teeth removal and surgery.
both are mixed with tylenol to aid in pain relief and pretty mild by drug standards.

pharma companies can only patent the name of a drug such as "Percocet" and "Vicodin" for so long, then they have to release the formula to competitors when the deal is up...but they still get to use the branded names.

OXYCONTIN is the brand name of a much more potent sythesized oxycodone that does not contain tylenol--its just the straight up "get you high" drug. Pretty popular in West Virginia...haha

Percocet/Oxycontin = Oxycodone + Acetaminophen (aka Tylenol)
Vicodin = Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen

i haven't posted in the cor for a looooooooooooooooooooong time..ha i'm the biggest lurker ever

injuries and a brief period of dependency makes ya wonder wtf is in the stuff the doctors keep pushing on you...
i'll tell ya what tho...the first few times you take a percocet, you friggin LOVE life, haha.
i stick to homeopathic remedies now that i know whats in most of the common pharma-drugs. i'll kill my liver with rum and sake!

EDIT--should be noted the street value of a percocet(oxycodone) is about $5 per pill, whereas a 40mg Oxycontin goes for $20-40 a pill depending on who's selling/inflation in the market. 1 percocet has 5mg of oxycodone in it...so taking an oxycontin at 40mg straight is like having 8 percocets. people get hooked on oxycontin b/c they can take a higher miligram dose without the side effects of too much tylenol (stomach bleeding, etc)

"Oxycontin" isn't "separate" from oxycodone. "Oxycodone" is just the name of the chemical (opioid analgesic) that is present in both Percocet and in Oxycontin. Both "Percocet" and "Oxycontin" contain oxycodone; the only difference is that Percocet has acetaminophen added, and has a smaller amount of oxycodone.

I have a friend that was on it. Ended up in rehab and what not. He is still a little fucked from it. So I know that its basically heroine.

Sorry I was thinking it did.
