[Melodic Trance] Neuchatel - The Black Liquid

This is a remix of a track I made earlier(2007) called "the black turnip", mixed with the elements of a track I made in 2006. Its not entirely finished, because I feel the end bring a feeling of "I want more - is this all?", so how it should continue have to be figured out...

The site is a little "complicated" , go to the tab which says "tracks" (on the left of the tab "mixdowns") - click it - and then find the play button for Neuchatel - The Black Liquid. lol

hey there
had a listen to your track epostetic, not bad
i thought the first saw type lead in the track was a bit thin, lacking in low end
sorta goes off then in another direction after a while which wasnt for me!
keep it up

Hey! Thank you very much for the comment. Anyways, I have to make a rule here, if you want to speak about other tracks, do it on the thread for this specific track. I have one for all of them in here. This is for the titled track only.

Nice sweeping lead chords there, although perhaps a little thin. The piano backing is really nice and a little bit mysterious
energy kicks up nicely with the bassline changes. There are some really nice little fx like that really quick panning gated chord, that sounds excellent.
Heaps of nice little touches and although theres not a particularly hooky melody the tune flows really well and was really enjoyable to listen to. Nice one!
I was thinking maybe a real little tweak to eq down some of the real top end from those nice sweeping chords could maybe help warm it up a little? Or maybe not, who knows

Oh sweLL! Thanks mate. I agree that its too much crispiness in there with all the top end tweaking. Really happy you liked it.

Thnx for great comment on my track

Lets go :

Most important thing that i see - you don't.

Absolutely freak 4 note sequence at beginning. I think this is killer element of this track.

Chords sequence is question - reverb/delay?

I think you must to do reverb/delay work on all elements, you must know what must be with reverb what with delay and sometimes what can be without both.

Nice percussion, crispy and clear.

Bass need bass boost.

high freqs down, middle ok, bottom UP.

Nice trippy track, has good positive power.

sorry for english
