No need to fix it - that's how I read it the first time.

I liked the previous two, sure they had their ups and downs but whatever, it was good enough for me.

Curious to see the track list for this one. These are coming out quite often...

This is a win for the people who love and hate it...Think about it. People that like the music will get a compilation they like...People that hate it should realize this is probably the last ISoS, if the Magik series is anything to go off of...

If I hated it I'd probably just not listen to it no matter how many of them there were but that's just me.

I liked the previous two installments... well at least one CD from each edition. So I'm assuming this next one will deliver the same goods. It's interesting that he chose Asia. I'm wondering if there will be ANY asian elements to it. Latin America had a lot of guitar-spanish elements... Los Angeles kinda felt like the west coast and Ibiza felt balearic. Would be interesting if some asian influences or inspiration went into the selections.

Posted by saluyamo on Apr-28-2008 03:04:

huh I didnt know he already had 6 out.

Posted by miamitranceman on Apr-28-2008 03:13:

Lookin forward to this. ISOS has always been respectable, and gets me into that summer mood.

It completely throw us through a loop if he put out some bitchin' Goa Trance.

The previous two? There were only two? 6 and 5? The rest were shit?

You too liked the previous two? Maybe you heard those spanish/west coast/balearic elements because your mind wanted to hear them, because the CDs were called "latin america" etc.

3CD, eh? Armani shirts? For fucks sake. I'm getting these crazy McDonald's photoshop ideas. Triple CD ISOS, extra cheese, hold the lettuce please.

It shouldn't, really, as the two should be completely unrelated. Tijs had stated that the Magik series was ending because he felt the music had taken a different direction... I don't think 7 is the magic number (no pun intended) for compilation series... But who knows. He's been knocking them out about one every year lately it seems so who knows...

Eh, I wouldn't say it's definitive enough to warrant a fix.

To Tiesto's credit (of which little I can give), ISOS generally showcases his most competent side, and typically amounts to a thoughtful release.

If I ever needed to direct someone to content reflecting Tiesto's strongest points, the ISOS series would be my immediate selection.

What makes you you think it's the last ISOS? Tiesto is on a roll and thousands of blind fans buy his CDs.
