Ghostly Swim features nineteen tracks from artists on Ghostly International, the avant-pop and non-dancefloor arm of Ann Arbor imprint Ghostly/Spectral. The 19-song collection features a variety of music, ranging from downtempo electronics from Ghostly regulars such as Matthew Dear, Dabrye, Osborne, Aeroc and Kill Memory Crash to friends of the label such as Detroit�s Deastro, Milosh from Plug Research, Flying Lotus and SAMIYAM teaming up as FLYamSAM, and UK band The Chap.

My favorite tunes from the album:

Tycho - Cascade - When the guitar strings come in a little after the 2:00 mark it's wonderful.

Ben Benjamin - Squirmy Sign Language - A good song when it's built up to its full potential a minute and a half in, but once it starts to unwind it loses the beauty in it again.

Osborne - Wait a Minute - Not usually my style of music, but it just has a great funky feel to it.

Milosh - Then It Happened - I'm mentioning this because if there were a dubbed version, I'd want it... but I feel like the vocals get in the way of the track.

1032 - Blue Little - A fun track, relaxed with a bit of drive. Makes me think of Amon Tobin for some reason.

Hard to pass up the free download on this.

Definitely picking all this up. I was wondering what all the "Ghostly Swim" shorts were on Adult Swim lately.
