I like having a phone and computer separate as well.

the more the better, then when people come over they don't have a clue how to perform a simple task like changing the channel

Awesome! I have the Logitech Harmony 880. This thing is amazing. I love the macros option where it automatically sets the correct setting for the A/V reciever, turns on/off the proper appliances, and any other marcos setup that i need. This thing is amazing!

The remotes by Crestron are the shit. They had what logitech is trying to do for years, but at commercial grade.

I dunno. I don't like it. It looks like it must be controlled by two hands. I kinda looks like the Logitech Harmony 1000

their expensive, but Logitech has nothing on the build quality compared to these. Go try one out at some high end home theater store.

that's just a URC MX3000. But yes, it's awesome.

The Harmony 1000 is nice, but the URC has channel icons, full learning capability, longer macros, and more flexible programming (albeit for twice the price).

any remotethat needs two hands to use is too big, what do you do with the beer when you want to change channels?
I've replaced 9 remotes with 1 loigitech 525, not the best model but pretty good for the price.
