MAXX - GET_A_WAY (Richard_Gale_Rmx) full 320kbps!!!!

well..

this track rocked for me back when i was about 11. those searing vocals are unreal, the mc is the best i have heard - EVER! and the melodies are sublime.

i bought the album from ebay and it arrived today. i listened and notice a distict lack on bass power. i wanted to maintin the rawness, but increace it ten fold.

so... Mistaire Reinhardt sifted through the honourable 'dj palms' sample pack he had sent for use in his new release, knowing there was something i could use.. and there i found a soft yet deadly low 808 kick he has rinsed for all its worth... I took it! my cheekiness was almost in the same fashion as if i had knelt over him as he slept, and injected him with a dose of heroin. i took all that was his, without a word!

i then proceeded to build a grimey bassline to replace the awsome yet slightly weak original bass synth.

this is far from serious as a piece, but should tear up some dirty chav dancefloors

any donations to the reinhardt alcohol fund are welcomed with open arms..

I like how you take the current direction of trance and take it somewhere completely new, awesome job

I can't say that I have ever heard the original version of this track, but I'm enjoying this remix.

the original is not far from this. i just reworked the bass and kick, used some reverb and delay here and there, and looped the beginning and end to make it a little more dj friendly...

glad you liked it

this edit works ok, altho the sidechaining seems to create this double beat effect which is annoying as fuck.

i have the original vinyl of this, with the club mix & piano mix and red jerry's awesome mixes on the flip.

awsome. i had the cd single, but lost it. i ordered the album in order to have something to sample from.

as palm said, its not teh sidechain that is making the double beat. its the 'palm' kick sample i cut up from a loop he sent me..

so basically it's a great track, but palm managed to ruin it, even without touching it?

Hey!
As you said it's not far from the original, but as an old euro dance freak I like the original bass better But i'm sure this would rock the dancefloor once again, the bass is surely clearer than before. Maybe tad down the double beat abit, gets annoying after a while.

Another gale production for the gym UmpaPumpa!

i did some tweeking for all the moaners the double kick has been toned down by a little. also i brightened up the mix with more prominant upper mids and a boost on the hf.

link is at the top of the page..

Hmmmmm...

I personally have no issues with double kicks or whacky basslines (Unlike too many on this forum! Ludites!!!)

Skill wise very good, although I totally hated the original with a passion and have to say that this equally enfuriates me to violence. I am now going to see if I can find a person who is shorter than me to persecute. :P

Good job though and will probably make hoards of Chav girls squeel with delight.

Not for me though he he... Good to see someone taking on stuff that most people wouldn't. Should probably do a colab with pat McGroin at some point, sounds like you guys might have a lot in common he he.

Nicely done.

Cheers
Karl
