I got jumped today!!! :D:D
K, i was walking to the mall, and i was crossing the street, and there were 3 rastafarians in a car, and they start talking to me. So i take my headphones off, and ask them what they want...
The driver, who was wearing a big gold ring, and had a gold tooth, goes to me
Rasta:"Yah, Keed, What Tribe are you in?"
Me: Tribe? i'm not in a tribe" says me
Rasta:"You're skinny, you know that keed?"
Me:"um...yeah..i know. oh well"
Rasta:"Gimme your walkman!" *note, he's still in his car*
Me: "Uh..no thanks..."
Rasta: "Give it to me!"
Me: "Even if you DID jump me for it, it would be pointless"
Rasta:"Is it a CD player?"
Me:"No, its an mp3 player, and you need the wire to change the songs, and unless you like shitty music, it's pointless, cause you cant change the song"
Rasta:"Look keed, gimme the M...."
Me: "Just dont worry about it, theres some kids over there..go jump them..i bet they have money"
Rasta: "Ok, thanks" (drives off)

I don't think he wanted to LISTEN to your player, more likely he wanted to SELL it.
It's a good thing they didn't catch in the alley, and it wasn't dark. Then you'd just be lucky if they took your player.....

I had my MP3 player stolen during a house party. They didnt take the cord. And it was a rio one. cost $150..
they probably got next to nothing for it.

I got jumped last week by two lads, he squared upto me and threatned me for my Pizza , He was not even taller than me , i think he was pissed up , but he took a swing at me and missed, i dropped the pizza and i started to brawl with him. Unlucky Mate, lucky they didn't nab anything. I've been with people who have been jumped, I know people who have been jumped, and people have attempted to jump me in the past its a shitty deal.
I come from Northampton in the UK which population of the whole town is 300,000 people, I come from the Black area of town which is like inner city but it isn't to bad, thing with the Jamicans are most them are sound people from my expriences, there is a couple of gangs of them across the park from me who stick to their own area who like to jump people, they keep out of my side cos its a main area of the town with lots of pubs and bars too many people for them to get, plus its hazardous enough avoiding punch ups with drunks along the way. Rasta's aswell do you have Yardies in Canada like we have in the UK? if so them blokes are bad fucking news, they had a gangwar once in South London, body upon body turned up over one summer.
Best Tactic to avoid mugging or getting jumped is be aware of the area, an area where loads of scumbags hang around is a bad place to walk through, unless you live along that road or have to pass that road, best bet is to avoid it, nice one in chatting the dude off btw, running is always a good tactic cos chances are fighting 3 on 1 you'll turn out on the losing side. but if worst comes for worst grab the first ****** that comes over grab his head, and take your strong arm and jab your thumb hard into his eye, and keep it there forces it until their fucking screaming in pain, and say to others 'Come any fucking where near me and I'll push this ****s eye up into his brain' the shock of their mates eye in his head should make them back off, walk up the street a distance tell not to follow, keep an eye on them walk off once 100 metres away, slam the gobby bastard on to floor and run as fast as your legs can carry you, or simply give them what they want. A mate of mine got asked for a cigarette of a group of five lads once, he gave a cig to one, another asked my mate refused and said he hardly had any left, then they ask for money, my mate keeps them talking the gobby one is getting wound up by the minute so my mate grabs the ****** and punches repeatly at his face, untill his head was swollen up and his nose was demolished, sometimes muggers back off cos these other 4 lads ran for their life.
anyone see that commercial wehre that little black kid runs through all these fences and the guy says

I dont think they were in for the mp3, they were in for the trance
