Movie Thread
Awesome movie! I would rate it just under Spider-man 1 & 2 and Batman Begins as far as comic book movies go.
Aside from a couple lapses in logic here and there, and Gwenyth Platrow who kind of sucked, it was pretty amazing. Lookin' forward to the sequels.
Pretty kool flick
i liked it better than spiderman.
but I cant wait for the DARK KNIGHT, Batman bitchesss
just saw it
I liked it better than the Spider Man movies actually
robert downy jr pretty much plays himself, so it works
bought a ticket online yesterday and when i went to pick it up those f*ckers told me they didn't get the order and so i couldn't see it

Great movie..
Ironman was my favorite childhood superhero. I'm gonna go see this today. I can't wait!!
it was pretty good. i liked the spidermans 1 and 2 better tho personally.
the lapses in logic kind of annoyed the crap out of me though.
saw it last night, then came home and downloaded a CAM and so far i have watched it like 5 times and i love it

| Originally posted by zizack I am a bigger fan of the Spider-man character personally. Plus, the bad guys (Green Goblin and Dr. Octopus) in Spider-man 1 & 2 are legendary comic book villains. Jeff Bridges and the Arab terrorists worked, but I definitely did not get as souped for the final battle scene in Iron Man as I did for the ones in Spider-man. |

The incredible Hulk looks promising too , not like the previous one that turned out to be a disaster |
Liked this 900x more than both Spiderman movies. Robert downey jr was stellar, excellent action, and it's a message a lily livered liberal like me can get behind. plus jeff bridges looked exactly like my brother in law so that was hilarious. two thumbs up.

The movie that disappointed me the most was Superman(too much romance). i think they could've done a better job I was expecting soo much more ![]() The incredible Hulk looks promising too , not like the previous one that turned out to be a disaster |
fucking amazing!
Robert Downey looks hot. Good to hear its not a dud. Can't wait to see!
Iron Man is NOW my favorite super hero!
I love him.
BTW did u guys stick through the entire credits? omg.. I walked out of the theaters lmfao!
woooooooooooooooooooooooot
It was pretty good. Iron Man has always been my favorite Marvel hero and I thought they did a great job with him. Downey was absolutely perfect for the Tony Stark role. The only thing that bothered me about the movie was how slow it was in a lot of parts. I felt the whole cave scene could have been done a lot better. That is where he becomes Iron Man and it just came off as the weakest part of the entire movie. After that though is where the movie took off and I enjoyed it a lot more.
This is and was obviously the intro movie for a couple more so I'm assuming a lot more action in the next one, with War Machine and possibly a couple more Avengers of course. The suit couldn't have been better, so hopefully they won't go ruining it like a lot of other super hero movies do by changing the suit a little with each new movie.
