Talking Any other Yello fans?

Anyone else appreciate the talents of Dieter Meier and Boris Blank?

If you don't know the name you'll probably know them from 'The Race' or 'Oh Yeah' which made the 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' OST.

If you haven't heard of them threre are quite a few videos on YouTube showcasing the wide range of sounds they produce. Great group!

anyone like the Oh Yeah Oh Six remixes? Booka Shade, Bodzin and Huntemman, Luetzenkirchen, they were all pretty banging. And recently I heard Pig & Dan - Oh Yeah which has a definite Yello influence.

This new-wave group is much more than "Oh Yeah". Its about making 80s music while being on an LSD trip of some sorts! Or maybe the 80s soundtrack to a surreal David Lynch film. Some albums like "Stella" and "One Second" (probably their two best albums) have a very strong cinematic influence in their songs, like each track is the audial poppy version of a sort super-8 film. And now that i think of it, their music sounds like an 80s new-wave/synth-pop version of an old cult film-noir.

Pocket Universe is a fucking amazing album. So dark and spacey, a million miles away from novelty tracks like Oh Yeah.

Not their original work, but deserves a mention:
