Socks & Sandals.

What is the point?



So many people in class today with socks & sandals - and you know, to each their own, but it looks ridiculous.

Never understood this phenomenon.

I think sandals look redic in general.

I actually remember when it was cool to wear those Mark's Work Wearhouse type wool socks with Birkenstock's. Ugh, the grunge days.

I lived in the Dominican Republic & El Salvador for a combined total of 6 or 7 years and those are some fucking hot places.

The worst are people who wear those croc sandal things with socks.

worst thing you can do. i fucking hate it. it looks dumb, and it defeats the purpose of sandals: TO NOT WEAR SOCKS.

Depends. Some people do have to wear khakis and a tucked in polo for work. But if this is someones normal every day dress, they are a douche.

No more ridiculous than multiple popped collars, t-shirts that go down to your knees, sagging your pants below the thigh, tilting your baseball cap sideways, over-greasing your hair, winter boots (ugs) in super-warm climates, ball-clenching skinny black jeans on guys, combing your hair over your face (emo-combover), those stupid bug-eye sunglasses that cover half your face, fake tans, walking billboards (clothing with gigantic corporate logos), faux vintage clothing, pre-ripped jeans, any t-shirt that you payed over $50 for when it cost 50 cents to make, tribal arm band tattoos, etc. etc.

Come to think of it, theres lots of stupid fashion stuff people do that I dont get. I guess I'm just an old curmudgeon.

in poland, a LOT of idiots wear socks and sandals. even young guys in their teens. its fucking stupid.

maybe ill post some pictures, i remember take photos of these morons on my trip to poland a couple years back.

My dad once picked me up from school in 5th grade wearing flip flops, knee high red soccer socks, plaid shorts and a t-shirt from the band "The Mieces" bearing this wonderful artwork:




It was, slightly embarrassing.
