TA DJs live on 2hp.ca?

So I was just chatting with RJ and wondered about having TA DJs do "live broadcasts" (not pre recorded..nono) and hes up for it...

Who all would be interested in spinning live on 2hp? we could end up having a weekly thing if theres alot of interest...

maybe have it mid evening on saturdays so TAs and others can tune in at a pre party, or a drunken night at home

Summary (aka edit): this would be a few hours on a fixed day of the week, on a weekly basis...about an hour or so each dj? tentative plan for now

Requirements:
Your own dj equipment (but of course..ur gonna be playing live)
High speed internet connection (will need to close all ur p2p software for less interruptions)
Whatever you need to channel ur decks to ur pc so u can stream to the server

DJs interested please post here and include your dj name and style

DJs in:
El K Dee (breaks/glitch/minimal/house)
Kotsy/dj kotsy - electro/progressive/tech house and techno/minimal

Invasionmix
M2J (House/Breaks/suffz)

if ur using ur sweet ass setup of cdjs and TTs, ur gonna just channel into ur laptop...if ur laptop is rather new, it should be fine... 44 khz is alright...most onboard soundcards go up to 96khz which really...not many use..

Yes, unless your laptop has a line in (which I am guessing it does not).

Well, you've seen it But would the microphone input be considered line-in on the laptop? because even if I try to record straight to my laptop, it sounds unbarable.

toggle the input level.. remember that a mic input is powered..not the same as a line input....same like on ur mixer, analog input is powered/amped and line in isnt....just dont red line and u will be fine...
