jesus

how to destroy a great tune!!!

Posted by Ian on May-06-2008 20:17:

lol at "back in the day"

it was never that great to begin with, just a tune that came out around the time trance began to get uber-shitty, and It was pretty forgettable personally.

Posted by sleepydragon on May-06-2008 20:46:

thats well crap the original is pretty decent

Posted by miamitranceman on May-06-2008 22:22:

Oh man, take one listen to this and you'll see the problem with the overused deadmau5 sound. Just awful here. Way to butcher a good track, whoever you are.

lol at them not being sure if it ws adam k deadmau5 or inpetto so they put all three pictures up with a question mark.

Posted by LionsLair on May-07-2008 02:59:

Yeah, that's the sad part in a nutshell.

It's not sad, I found it quite funny.

vomitous

Posted by Fledz on May-07-2008 10:30:

Pass. Not good at all.

Original is a tune and half. This however, is not.

Posted by peb070 on May-07-2008 12:52:

Bjorn Akesson produced the track in I think 200 but not this butchered crap. Original tune is beautiful

Posted by btfog on May-07-2008 15:39:

Bjorn kesson did not produce the tune.

Written and produced by Dreas it says on my record. Co-written by kesson, so apparently he have nothing to do with the production itself.

I guess thats why it says Dreas prs. Havannah aswell on the record.

Have in mind I ripped this from FM radio, so its really bad quality.

No one heard it before, I personally like this style and can definately see this sounding banging on a club.

Can people please stop it with this fucking boring, bland, overused straight eighth-note business?

Seriously, it got old after the first couple of tracks made in this style.

I guess it really takes all the mystery out of what rhythm to use and where to place your notes, though, so loads of talentless dweeb "producers" must be enjoying this trend and it will probably continue.

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on May-07-2008 16:14:

This style is really starting to annoy the crap out of me.

Eighth note, eighth note, eighth note.

Always on the beat, straight, never a hint of a syncopation or rhythmic interest.

Fucking monotonous, and usually combined with the most obvious and unimaginative chord progressions around. And the SAME FUCKING SYNTH SOUND every time.

Then we have the big break down where the low pass filter opens up and we get to hear the saw waves in their full glory! OMG what a rush! I haven't heard this manipulative little trick five hundred times before in every fucking mainstream trance production of the past decade!

And like...this track has a slightly different sequence of notes from the last twenty straight-eighth-note throwaway tracks I just heard. And it's in a different key! Such diversity and innovation!

Just STOP IT, people.

I didn't like the original in the first place, but this is such a fucking huge piece of turd
