Review: AVB at Ultra Supper Club
It was really nice to see Armin in a small venue for the first time. Armin killed it tonight. Sorry, don't have a track list for you, but i do have some pics that I will post.
Everyone was dressed up, and enjoying themselves for a Tuesday night!?!? Going to sleep, because I have to work in the morning, like every other normal person!
All I can say is that I enjoy seeing Armin in a small venue vs a huge room. Its a lot more fun and intimate.
Eklipse
totally agree with the above post!... was awesome!!! awesome tunes. and ... the crowd didnt bother me that much to tell u the truth... yeah it was all z103 crowd.. but why were they all polite . hmmm. its definitely a first!
i had fun!!! now i gotta be up at 7 for work .
wow that was fast... i am drtunk i will type maore rotoorow...
amazing night all around. not even a huge fan of AVB to begin with, but a friend convinced me to come out and it turned out to be an awesome night.
venue was great, crowd was into the music and armin was loving every minute of the TO vibe. everyone who shunned this night and the small venue totally missed out on a gem of an epic night.
descent venue... Good energy... HORRIBLE set, the WORST ONE ever heard from Armin, big time disappointed, but then again I think his album is peace of shite... that was one of the main problems...
Definitely a great night. Awesome vibe in the club
How long was his set? When did he wrap up?
It seemed like 11:30-2:30 but I could be wrong. Played a couple of encores
if it was anything like his z set.....yawn
I really liked the change in venue and crowd. Chanting Ar-min Ar-min and eh! Eh! Eh! is always annoying but whatever. I agree his set was okay Im not a pro at this but at one point I thought I heard a bit of a train wreck
His interaction with the crowd was great and having the booth so close to the crowd made it more intimate. Definitely lacked in lasers though! The best part was that he started early and you could enjoy a 2-3 hour set and still getting home at a decent time.
Still prefer the Guv though but it was a nice change and it wasnt too packed. Getting up for work sucked this morning.
Also, I didnt find it all that entertaining when he stopped the music at 2am and waved goodbye but then kept playing weird.
His set was 11:45 to 2, but he ended up doing 2 'encore' tracks. The place was definitely a bit overcrowded, even the little 'VIP' area was quite the mess and the leaking pipes overhead sure didn't help much either
And lastly, damn it was hot in there.
And to the poster above, what's wrong with him doing encore tracks?

I really enjoyed the venue, it was a very intimate show, loved it!
It was good to see everyone (TA's) enjoying themselves.

Good times
Tune of the night was The Savage - ID?
Tuesday night parties are BACK bitches!!!!!!!!!
I had a FATNASTIC TIME!!! thnx to my friends, our amazing dinner, a corner booth and obviously Armin

For me there was a perfect blend of everything present last night which happened to be a TUESDAY WOW!!
It was a bit overcrowded in the club on the floor and the front w 19 year old groupies but not where we were situated so I can't comment on that except for when you tried to go to the bathroom YIKES!!!
Also the transition from the opening DJ to Armin's was flawless and the tunes just kept getting better!!! Does anyone know who it was?
Good seeing some TA population
next Armin stop---DRAGONFLY!!

When Vince texted me saying he was dropping Saltwater - The Legacy, I almost came... like in my pants came, LOL. But sounds like I didn't miss much besides a good night out with some TA's
