Wootss awsome! just in time for my bday (17th aug). Saw him last time @ metropolis was pretty damn good. Cant wait to see what he has to offer this time in mtl.
PVDGeed, whats the capacity at metropolis and at stereo? isnt it 1200 at metropolis and 900 at stereo?? not that big of a difference (if my numbers are right)

Capacity at Metropolis is 2300 I believe.
And PvDGeek is right, Metropolis is the right venue for him..it would be a sardine can at Stereo.

I agree 100% with you Selma, will be too crowded at Stereo, and way more expensive too!

Posted by Neo Hacker on May-10-2008 16:55:

Aria would have been nice... old school Aria...

...Serieux, quand ils obtiennent un certain niveau de celebrite, ils se croient sortis de la jambe de Jupiter. .
Apparently he's a real dick now..but man nothing can take away from his ability to take you on a real journey..

If I'm still in the country in August, I will definitely be there for him.

Oh yeah definitely, I was generalizing there.
The ones that make it to the number 1 spot on the DJMag tend to become like that though...untouchables.
That's why I kinda hope my current favorites never make it to the number 1 spot. ..they already are in my eyes.

Indeed - was very pleased with that. He looked like he was genuinly enjoying himself, nice crowd interaction..Unlike the time before that when he was here..the man looked like he had a broom up his ass the entire time.

Posted by Marcus007 on May-11-2008 19:33:

yeah he was rly into the produkt show

a lot more than i expected

he removed the broom from his bum... thats my theory

I am going to the NYC show as well. I hope that I am making the right choice sticking with this. I think the Pier venue will be pretty special.

I totally agree with you! Age has mellowed him perhaps? A few months ago I caught him at Kewwwll Haause in T.O. I had my vinyl of For an Angel (WOW remix) and he pracically skipped to the edge of the stage to sign it. He flipped it around and around in his hand inspecting the sleeve and seemed pretty stoked someone carried that old thing around all night. He was smiling (and making other strange faces) through his entire set too.

I'm sticking with the NY show as well, since already got my tickets + 14 people to drive there Let's hope the sun will be there as well ... but damn I might just do both

Posted by Trancission on May-14-2008 04:13:

seen him once, he delivered a solid set, much more than expected. if you never seen him before, I would say check him out..I will probably skip this time if the tickets are as expensive as last time.
