quick question
quick question when i cue a record is it normal for the amount of pressure im putting on the record to cause the dots to sorta look like there jumping back a little? anyone who puts a bit too much pressure on the platter will know what im talking about it looks like theere going forward (at a slower pace) then they skip back really quickly then continue going forward... anyway my question is (if this is normal) when i let the record go if its doing that will it go up to speed (or where its pitched at) straight away? or should i be nudging it? thanks
that is perfectly normal Jah, what do you have for slipmats...if I'm remember correctly you have techs, if that is the case if you are using the rubber mat that came with it you don't have to, that would cause that to happen. As far as when you let the record go, it should go up to speed right away. You might have to nudge it or hold it back some just to get it right on.

It's perfectly okay, Jah. Your Techs are built as tanks.
thanx for the help guys
Don't be so worried about your tables jah, they are workin just fine
but I actually have a question for anybody since we are on the topic, wtih my tables, one stops on a dime and the other doesn't, is there anything that I can do to fix this, besides adjustin the brake inside ?
Peas
No, the only thing you can do is adjust the brake.
Ok if you have MK3's there should be 2 record shaped pieces of light wax paper. make sure to put thes on the table under the slipmat. make things sooooo much easier. And the thick black rubber mat's are useless, the just give the decks a heavier feel, take em off.
Lots of people with the MK3's forget about the wax paper or dont see them in the box, they make a world of diffrence on the tables
