Eh...

It's amazing how quickly a lot of people will warm to a track if you just throw in a bunch of big, treacly-sentimental string chords.

It has its charm, but not too much of a shelf life. Needed more Huinink and less van Riel, imho.

ehh. im not sure how i feel about this.

its not bad, not great. some things i dislike and somethings i like. could be a lot better thou. right now 6.5/10.

Thumbs down

big epic cheesy symphony break AND awful techy synth line, this track is a winner

I don't think you could make it more overblown if you tried.

trance really does go in circles any more it seems. Let's bring back the 30 second strings build-up again. Cheeeeeck.

precisely, the stupid beat/bass combination does not go with the symphonic sounds at all. It's pretty obvious to me which person has done what here, Geert is very capable of producing masterpieces (think Magik Journey & the work for Dawnseekers for example) but working with someone like sied really hasn't brought out the best in him. I was very interested when I first saw it on trackitdown but soon felt repulsed. Not the direction trance needs for sure.

Minimal?

Yea this same structure and style that has been used many times before is still used and getting really old. That is why producers like Orkidea and Airwave are so great. They're way of building up momentum in a song is very original.
