GRRR... Stranded... **** my life...

FUCK... so my platoon mates and I are stranded in Kuwait trying to fly back to the states... we took off to fly to Germany and then... oops... technical difficulties had to turn around so we've been stuck here 3 days and no clue how much longer I am sooooooooo friggin bored somebody tell me a funny joke / random you-tube post before I stab someone with my bayonette hahaha. Now I see what the term "lowest bidder" means. Fuck these guys and their no-name-business-kept-alive-by-DOD-contract-airline. At least Kuwait is nice. Its not home tho . At least we're out of Iraq right?

Sorry to vent.... just one of those days lol.

I agree with going to explore the city. Kuwait doesn't strike me as an exciting place offhand, but who knows. Get a load of the local culture and history n shit, even if it turns out it's just super rich kids wiping their asses with mercedes benzes. At least it will be an experience that you can write/talk/share or somethin.

you would be surprised. many devolopping countries have cheaper and more available access to internet and cell phones that western counties.

all military zones have access to communication, you do not need fiber optic anything anymore, its quite out dated.
