Posted by ReclusNdangrmnt on May-13-2008 16:14:

It's awesome, but it doesn't warrant $10

Posted by THE_Chris on May-13-2008 16:18:

Oh well, at least people can Rickroll the crowd now

the WAVE was for free on their site a lil while back

The fact that beatport will sell this just shows how fucking stupid they've gotten. A record shop with any sort of fucking integrity would not put this on the shelf.

And yet I still buy 90% of my music from there. Some great cuts too.

Beatport should sell anything and everything they legally can. It makes sense. Why limit what people can buy? It's not as if it's costing them anything to host the tracks, and the bandwidth for people to download them is cheap too. It's online shop, not a cool local joint.

It is costing them, or else they wouldn't have a "wav handling fee"

Also, you clearly don't spend every free minute of your life scouring the internet for good music. I don't wanna have to sift through 600 pages of "anything and everything" to find music with merit.

Posted by iammesol on May-14-2008 21:41:

Yeah you do, cuz then everyone would be spinning the music that merits, leaving you just an average Clovis

No, they'd probably be buying music on itunes, not stores with a bunch of "weird minimal crap"

Posted by idoru on May-14-2008 22:21:

You know, I'm surprised that a release such as this took so long to happen.
