How does he lose? He actually wins. They took the clamp off and didn't impound any of it. Result.

And the car wasn't legally drivable in the first place, so technically he hasn't lost anything.

I've sprayed people's cars with the hose when I'm setting up my sprinkler, after seeing the blue hornet come around and chalk thier tires.
