Who is your favourite Wu-Tang MC?

Listed in order of the intro to M.E.T.H.O.D. Man.

Masta Killa, Capadonna and all Wu-affiliates intentionally ommitted

Specifically MC (so Rza's production skills do not get him extra points)

Meth with Raekwon coming in a close 2nd

Posted by Xavier Moriarty on May-15-2008 05:25:

ol' dirty bastard hands down. method man is fantastic, dont get me wrong but ODB had this fucked up flow.... hard to explain :

in-fucking-credible.

r.i.p. ODB !!

p.s. good to see another head !

Raekwon with Tony Starks (Ghost) a close second.

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx = LEGENDARY!!! Verbal Intercourse feat. NAS> OMG!

Even though I admire Mef, There's something that Ghostface brings to the table that just defies description.

Honorable mention to the Raekwon as well.

Probably the best poll ever created.

And FTWK, the correct answer is The GZA.

Posted by Yohan on May-15-2008 07:28:

ODB followed by Method Man

RZA is the best.

Posted by ItalianPoiSon on May-15-2008 08:43:

it is nice seeing other wu heads on ta hahahahaha.....if i created a thread like this i'd be boooed out of the forums hahaha.....anyways i gotta give it to Nott Nickels, the M.E.T.H.O.D. man.......i know he has been off his game since after he collabereted with Redman in the Blackout album.....but his first album Tical and his verses in 36 Chambers/Wu Tang Forever are legendary too me.......
but on a consistend bases Ghostface takes tops.....
Raekwon n o.d.b/big baby jesus deserved to be mention......
i did hear Capadonna drives a cab in Miami hahahaha....

one last Clan note - Raekwon n a few of the other clans men(including mef) told Rza in production that they werent feeling the tracks and the direction Rza was tryin to go....so they agreed if the current album 8 Diagrams is a flop(which it is) that the next album will be made with out Rza's input and its gunna be titled "Wu Tang Vs Shaolin"......Shaolin was there old streeyt name b4 Rza dubbed'em Wu Tang Clan....should be hott cant wait for that......

i'm waiting for kanye to create a username so he can post himself for this one. this may take a moment to think about...

Ghostface. Also, Masta Killah doesn't get enough respect.

Posted by Capo di tutti on May-15-2008 13:00:

Raekwon IMO would put the icing on the track, Wu would warm it up and he's kill it at the end. Live from New York is still on of my fav solo tracks of his.

I would give was all the affliates a chance back in the day, killa army one, grave diggaz imo was the best wu affiliate.

The best duo album from Wu hands down is Liquid Swordz, Rza & Gza

Posted by chico on May-15-2008 13:08:

masta killa was left out due to the absence of his name in the lyrics to the intro that inspired this poll, as well as that he didn't contribute fully on 36 Chambers. he represented all the way on Forever

duo album - liquid swordz vs ironman (ghost and raekwon)??

gravediggaz - 1800 Suicide and The Night The Earth Cried are amazing. projects like this took Rza to a different level. i felt his wu-production style was done after he started rolling with tarantino. also having created hundreds of tracks for wu or affiliates by that point he needed to move on with his creativity. i would be interested to hear him do EDM...

dude, ya dunno? on TA, Hip Hop kills lol.

Posted by matty on May-15-2008 13:43:

I've seen the Wu probably 4 or 5 times and i'll go with Meth, followed very closely by Inspectah Deck.

My other personal fav is Dreddy Kruger, and fav group Killarmy

OHHHHH YAAA!!!

I forgot about him, he was signed when he was like 14 or something, career plateaued by the time he was 20 but he was sick

I had him and Big L on my walkman alternating back in the day

Posted by sufee_b on May-15-2008 14:18:

You should've had one more option: Wu Tang sucks.

Posted by jon jon on May-15-2008 14:23:

Ghostface/GZA toss-up

Tho something about RZA's ridiculous slur always gets me! lol
