Tiësto and Coca-Cola to collaborate for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games
As the world joins together for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games this summer, Coca-Cola has invited Tiësto to produce a track that properly expresses what the occasion means to him.
Tiësto had been provided with a theme and using his music as his form of expression, he created a song that expanded on his inspiration, drawn from the theme. The title of the track he created will be "Global Harmony".
The collaboration is based on the contribution of Chinese visual artist Xiao Xue who designed a new limited-edition Coca-Cola bottle. The graphic arts featured in the design, were then united with Tiësto's track, thus showing the basis of the concept: the possibilities that emerge when cultures of all parts of the world come together.
Both the artistic and cultural exchange of this first ever project resulted in a total of eight limited-edition aluminum contour bottles by the title "WE8", which refers to the collaboration between West and East around eight different themes.
The eight unique bottle designs, together with their respective music tracks are available for free download from the dedicated Coca-Cola homepage.

I would prefer to see Tiesto at centre-stage representing EDM, than say guy who made Unfinished Symphony or some other one classic.

I had the misfortune to check this out; sounds like an unfinished dub mix of the recent cheesefest Jordan Sparks - No Air (Tiesto Remix).

ISOS7 is coming with some really well produced bombs considering, at the other end of the spectrum he makes gash like this?
How the hell did a major company like Coke actually approve the finished article? It sounds crap, it has no real feeling (despite created on the base of "emotional" feelings towards the Olympics). Sorry but just NO.
Would've been better starting with a track from scratch (instead of recycling parts from the No Air remix. Even better still, going in a deeper more emotive direction if Coke are going to advertise this as something to represent the "Olympic Spirit".
Sometimes I just don't get Tiesto (+ managers) direction 
On one hand they dot all the I's and T's in pulling together to make something worth owning...ISOS7 will prove that. Yet, on the other hand, they shoot themselves in the foot in the 'real scene' by these cheapshots at marketing the brandname to a wider audience.

He already did shit on DJ Mag. In '04 when he didn't bother to go pick up the award. Since then they've done their best to shit back on him.
It wouldn't surprise me if they rig the poll so he is never no. 1 again. If they haven't already that is.
