ya dude, i hope lifelike plays his older non-hipster stuff like the Super Mal remixes, Discomachine, and So Electric instead of his recent stuff with the whole Ed Banger-scene guys

It's about time, LIFELIKE's the shit.

"So Electric" FTW! I listen to it at least 3 times a day since it came out.

Amen bruva!!! See my new mix (guilty plug!) This will be my first Studio B trip too!

I sweat Lifelike. Kris Menace too, but I'll take what I can get.

True. Personally, I like Menace a lot more. Jupiter is probably in my top 10 tracks of all-time.

One of the happiest songs ever made -- always wanted to hear it out...

Ercola - Follow Me (Lifelike Remix)... It's almost unfathomable that this track was not pulled directly from some obscure 80's New-Wave archive.... Great choice, Ryan!

I went to Studio B back in October for Braxe & Falcon and it was amazing shit. This is not to be missed...

Cazals - Somebody Somewhere (Lifelike Remix)
The Presets - This Boy's in Love (Lifelike Remix)
Does It Offend You, Yeah? - Epic Last Song (Lifelike Remix)
Fleetwood Mac - Never Forget (Cut Copy Lifelike Remix)
Alyoa - It's Been Too Long (Lifelike Remix)

The only thing I don't like about some Lifelike tracks is they (seem) so horribly mastered (some a lot more than others)... They're great for a listen on my iPod but I've never had the balls to play it in a big room for fear of what it would sound like... Could be just my impression though, anyone else know what I'm talking about?

I've found a lot of producers who really focus on the 80's sound tend to have sub-par mastering. I think it's because it gives the tracks an even more retro feel.

Yeah you're right, I think that's what it is... Even a lot of the French electro guys (I say French to generalize the guys like Justice, Sebastian, Oizo etc.) have so many tunes that I would never play in a club for fear of my ears...... But they're so good.

Are there any recent lifelike sets floating around?
