What games do you want "revamped"?

The recent rash of "updated" and/or re-relases of classic games has had me thinking about what franchise's I'd like to see get the graphical/content update.

First one that comes readily to mind is Super Metroid - keep it 4d, but give it a graphics overhaul and more terrain.

With the FF4 and Bionic Commando updates I'm already pretty happy with some of the games have picked to go back, but what you like to see?

They should make a Huge 3D RPG-remake of Secret of Mana; with extended gameplay

A strong console remake of Golden Sun would be awesome as well.

And +1 on Age of Empires

I would really go crazy if they ever remade that using todays graphics engines... and making Kefka even more out of his mind.

As long as it remains a side-scroller. No 3-D.

That was quite radical.

No. I liked the older type of action games where you view from the side like Megaman, not from behind like devil may cry.

What are you like, 50? What kind of description is this

Side scroller vs. 3rd person, old man

edit // I'd like to add Tenchu: Stealth Assassins. The first one was so much fun, one of the main reasons I picked up a PlayStation.

Own it. It's an alternate reality, actually. Ties in with Chrono Trigger, as well, seeing as how the Time Devourer (AKA Lavos) is the last boss. Oh... and Kid is from the orphanage that Lucca created in this timeline.

+1

one of the reasons why FF7 was cut down to 3players onscreen (compared to 3+ for FF6) was b/c of graphic limitations of ps1 at the time.

but imagine a full fledged 3d FF6 on Ps3? wow.. i'd buy a PS3 just for this game

i'd also buy a PS3 for a ff7 remake...

Oh yea I know about that, but it never quite reaches the pinnacle that Chrono Trigger does. God damn that was good game.
