Hah, life is great in Canadian prisons. Internet, newspapers, gym, library, leisure rooms, etc. Dont recall the exact dollar value for the cost of maintaining a prisoner (average), but its pretty high. I mean, Karla Homolka got a UNIVERSITY DEGREE and learned a new language while in prison. While one of her victims couldn't even AFFORD to go to one, let alone being so scarred to ever have the strength to do it.

To summarize - being in Canadian prison surely beats being a homeless bum.

Couple years ago there was a very funny article on how inmates from a specific prison (dont recall which one) for sex criminals and pedophiles to be set free received a free admission pass to Canada's Wonderland. How funny is that.

I must say not all prisons are that comfy, I made a mistake in my previous post when I said that ALL Canadian prisons are nice. In the case of some of the more prominent criminals, they tend to be. In your case - well, in my city there's a prison and its a shitty one. Could be as bad as yours. Never been to a prison, but a distant friend of mine was at the prison that I just mentioned and he said he would not want to go back there again.
