Posted by d_sub on May-22-2002 21:00:

shouldn't the song be named "one THIRD"?

Posted by DJ.MD on May-23-2002 06:15:

Good hard trance...But I agree should be named one third

Posted by dyne on May-24-2002 16:22:

agghhh! annoying voice overs... "excuse me, one third???" i'm sorry, but that's a really poor choice of vocal samples...

but this tune is baaanging...hard-trance reigns supreme! 9/10

awesome track , here's my reasons

completely unpredictable!
ill and out of boundsssss!!!

one 1/3 !!!

Posted by Greedy on Jul-23-2002 05:38:

Is this really New Energy or Nu NRG? Who knows . . .
This track is banging and I think the vocal sample is absolutely clever. I didnt think the repetitive "1/3" was annoying at all like other people did.

im not sure where i heard this but as far as i know nu-nrg and new energy are one and the same - just a different alias...

as for the track this is a real stomper!! nu-nrg or new energy or whatever are making their way into the classics with tracks like 1/3! this is the way to go, baby, yeeeah!

The tune is very cool. I love the voice over. I don't find it annoying at all.

This track rocks. Everytime someone says, "'Scuse me?", I immediately reply, "One Third." It's gettin' embarrassin' but the tunes obviously stuck in the brain. Excellent tune with powerful energy - a floor mover without doubt.

Posted by Shad0wmaster on Aug-18-2002 06:24:

well i really like it. hard trance is god!!!

i didnt think the 'scuse me...one third?' was annoying at all actually i really liked it...but yea with the number of times that sample is repeated, it should have been called one third.
good tune.

It's One Turn. Check www.nunrg.it and www.discogs.com

And it's Nu NRG, not New Energy or Nu-NRG.

Trent Lott

In case anyone is wondering (after 3 years of this thread sitting there dead), the vocals ("Excuse me, one third?") are of Trent Lott.

"Well, surely the bombs are taking a toll, but again, when the secretary says we have degraded their military fighting capability by one-third -- excuse me, one-third," Lott said.

"When we've been bombing now for almost two months, 60,000 sorties and we've only degraded their military fighting capability by one-third, that is very tough to understand or accept. They're still extremely dangerous."
