Review: Come Get Your Fcuk'in Beats @ The Comfort Zone (05/20/08)

Zone is backkkk!!

It was right busy this morning.. but not too busy! The perfect amount.
Barely any sketch and it appears that CZ has cleaned up a bit. How about those tables at the back with tablecloths on them! lol

I can honestly say I really enjoyed everyones set that I heard. The music was just top notch through and through.

Cops showed up at noon but it was only a quick walk through. I was in metal lounge at the time and I saw them search one person, do a very brief scan with their flashlights and leave. That was it. No disruption to the party at all.

Looking forward to Canada Day!

obviously, anything with alcohol drains you. Eat REAL food to solve that problem.

Zone was awesome! And like Kotsy, was NOWHERE near as sketchy as I remembered it to be (as long as u stayed outta the corner closest to the smoking patio....).

Got there a little after 6am and Manzone was dropping some killer tracks but it was pretty quiet. We went out for a smoke, were gone maybe 15 mins and came back to semi packed club!! Manzone's set was the perfect warm up for deko-ze and he rocked the place like really only he can. The set got progressively dirtier and darker and then outta nowhere he threw down "Get the Fuck up" by stupid Fresh and i LOST IT!!

Vinyl Junkies were great although i didnt really catch much of them as I was kinda all over the place and outside a lot. Carlo's was the last set i caught before we called it a nite and he was fukking ON! Awesome set as always, like I said in the Freedom review, the Roaches NEVER disappoint!!

Glad to see the Zone so rammed again! YAY!!!

I thought I was listening to Manzone and Strong at Freedom in the Main Room at 7am. Set was similar to their TiL set in Feb... Perhaps I'm having a senior's moment.

Fabian Strong was playing at The Guvernment while Joe Manzone was playing at The Comfort Zone

I was pretty happy in there from 9am to 3pm and I called it a day...

Carlo Lio - AWESOME.
Joe Conns - Excellent

Jayforce - usually one of my faves, but there were WAY too many effects in his set. Let the song play!!

It certainly had cleaned up. I even opted for lunch (very stinky garlic pizza) upstairs.

Zone was awesome! Got there around 6 and there was about 20 people in there the place started started to fill up fast and was and it was in full swing by 9am. The music was banging all day with an awesome warmup from Joe then moved on to the junkies then carlo lio and then jay force. I <3 Jay Force It did seem like zone in the old days cept for the lack of dealers in their usual spots i didn't see anyone doing anything they should not be doing in the open and a lot of the staff has changed. Overall the zone was looking a lot better and i was overly happy to be back

Good dancing with you Sketchbag!

I can't fault Jayforce for his crowd interaction... he could be playing the Bee Gees and he'd have everyone going nuts.

You missed Deko-Ze
He played Sneaker Pimps - Spin Spin Sugar [Armand's Dark Garage Mix]. Made my entire night (including Guv)

does every zone review have to involve a 'skecth factor" rating?
