Poking around on Google Reader today, I came across this in one of my feeds.

It's a very attractive looking smooth-scrolling ticker that you can place anywhere on your desktop, and import an OMPL file (your RSS feed list) and it'll immediately start scrolling through them. It's nice if you have a lot of desktop real estate, as you can have it always on top. You've got to install Adobe AIR to make it work, but the installation is about as painless as can be. Also, it seems that AIR isn't nearly the clusterfuck of epic proportions that other free Adobe products are (Acrobat Reader, I'm looking at you).

The only problem I've got with it now is that when you click "View Post" after expanding a post from the ticker, it opens in Internet Explorer and as of yet there is no option to change that.

Here's a screenshot of it on the far right of my 2nd monitor. Like I said, if you have a huge monitor or multiple monitors, this program is perfect.

Yeah yeah yeah, I had to have something else in the screenshot to show Snackr's position in relevance to other applications. I figured it would make the program a little easier to understand.
