Serato w/ conectiv

So I'm going to be DJing this weekend with a friend of mine using his equipment, but he has the m-audio torq software/hardware. Although it's not that bad of a program, I prefer my Serato. Is there anyway to get Serato software working through the M-Audio Connectiv hardware?

I'm sure they were smart enough to have some kind of lock, but maybe someone here knows something i dont lol. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

if there is going to be a 4 channel mixer...you can always just have two channels for torq and two channels for serato.

i remember reading somewhere that from the serato box, you could connect directly to torq where the knobs to switch between time code vinyl control and standard would be the same where one side would strictly be torq, the other side of the knobs serato...if that makes any sense

I see what you're saying, but I guess I forgot to mention that I don't have my Serato box with me (I live at school). That's why I'm asking.

I'm pretty sure you can't use conectiv with Serato. Conectiv uses a ASIO driver while serato doesn't.

i saw something about this in the torq-dj forum, they tell you how to tweak stuff there.

do y ou have a link that might help me out? I just spent some time trying to look for information, but its mostly on how to run torq with the serato box since serato now provides ASIO drivers for third party software.

Serato requires the SL-1 to operate, or the TTM-57SL mixer.

You can use the SL-1 with other applications using an ASIO driver, but that's clearly not what you want to do (since you don't even have it with you).

Even if you had the SL-1 (to act as a security dongle for the software), Serato doesn't allow you to select which audio interface you want to use anyway.
