is there a Sony Soundforge equivalent for mac?
So I JUST made the switch from PC to Mac. One of my fav tools on the pc was sony soundforge. I really like how I could just edit my mp3s extremely easily on there (if i want to make a quick cut or insert a fadeout, without doing anything extremely complicated). I notice it is not available for Macs [
]. Can anyone reccomend a similar program to do the same things? I realize you could prob do the same type of thing with logic but ideally I just want something simple to handle small jobs like this.
adobe audition?
a very easy to work software with is SoundStudio3
thanks i will check both of these out
wavelab?
reaper.fm is free. might be abit buggy for macs still tho. worth a try

Whoops. My bad. Wavelab is NOT available for Mac, I used it on my PC and didn't like it all that much, although it does offer plenty of features (I'm not saying Wavelab is bad, it just wasn't to my liking)
Yeah its tough making the transition to a new program. I have been using soundforge for something like 6 or 7 years. Learning something new is always a pain in the ass

If you have access to Parallels or VMware Fusion, I would highly recommend using either of those programs to run Sound Forge. If not, then my best recommendation would be Wave Editor. I like it so much better than Peak and Audacity, but I'll admit, it's still no Sound Forge. Definitely worth checking out though.
VMware Fusion i hear is good! Maybe the links i will give u will help u out!
