Wish I was there at Ruby Skye but we were pretty beat.
I was hoping this would happen at POP. Not him getting cut off, but tag teamin with Ferry.

Glad I ate my words saying there's no after party for me. I got dragged into Ruby and whooaaaaaaa Tiesto vs. Ferry and they really looked that they were having a blast!
Bailed out about 6:30 to go to another after-after party 
and just got home. I'm crashing hard

Hehe actually thanks Dave for txtin me. You know I went nuts when I heard about them teamin up. Your txt around 4-5ish last night was "OMFG Gouryella!"
I would have liked to have been there to witness them together. Heres a bit of info from Wikipedia for those of you who dont know what you witnessed last night.
Im too lazy to type it out, hehe.
personally, I only have heard each one of them drop Walhalla once here in SF. I think Gouryella is both their favorites cause I hear it often when either one of them come play alone. I havent heard either one of them play Ligaya. Ive heard them play one of these tracks periodically at Sensation and Trance Energy in the past, and a few times at GC1.

In 1999, successful Dutch artists Ferry Corsten and Ti�sto joined forces to create the trance partnership of Gouryella. To highlight their importance in the trance scene at the time, there were 20 separate CD releases of the 4 Gouryella tracks from 9 different labels.
Gouryella is known to have released six tracks: Gouryella, Gorella, Walhalla, In Walhalla, Tenshi and Ligaya. Please note that Gorella and In Walhalla were B-Sides and were never released in the UK, although they can be found on the respective German and Dutch import CDs.
Late in 2000, Ti�sto decided he needed to concentrate on his solo work and left Ferry Corsten to write and produce Ligaya on his own in 2001.
First single, Gouryella, was released to enormous praise and contained remixes from DJ Gigilo and Armin van Buuren. Walhalla, also released in 1999, also featured a remix from Van Buuren, as well as Hybrid.
The release of Tenshi in 2000 saw a slightly different style in Gouryella's work and some fans say that the apparent move away from euphoric synth lines and towards an edgier electronic sound represented Ti�sto's increasing influence. However, a stunning remix from Transa made sure it became a club classic. Tenshi CDM featured some remixes from Transa, ATB , Ratty (Scooter).
Ferry produced Ligaya in 2001. Paul van Dyk, Green Court and Airbase were among those providing remixes.
Gouryella remixed two tracks for other artists, both in 1999: Solange - Messages and Binary Finary - 1999.
Additionally, Corsten and Ti�sto released two tracks under the name of Vimana. We Came was released as a single in 1999 and featured a B-Side called Dreamtime. At the time, neither of these tracks were deemed suitable for a release under the Gouryella name (whose style was for hardcore euphoric tracks), so a further alias was created.
There are currently no plans for another Gouryella release, and even if there is at some point, it is almost certain that Ti�sto will not be involved.

ferry played ligaya 12/30/06 as a closing track at ruby. glad i dragged my ass out to ruby. Tiesto vs Ferry was def. a treat. they looked like they enjoyed it very much and it was just great vibe.

Damn.. i sat in my blackedout hotel room.. and then went to my friends house which was also blackedout lol. I dont think i was in the condition to drive very far though.

the whole weekend was pure insanity to me....my friend had her video cam with her the whole time....just have to transfer it, so hopefully that happens soon.......about 50 mins of footage of ferry and tijs tag teaming....amazing weekend
