I'm actually looking forward to ESPN's coverage simply because:
NO MORE DAVE O'BRIEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, his coverage in 2006 pissed me off so much I was watching Univision (North America spanish channel) for nearly all the matches.

What's that Irish/Scottish guy on ESPN? He did all the Champions League commentary and he had some of the best analogies ever.
The best is the Irish guy(?) from Gol TV who does the Real Madrid and Barca matches. I don't get the channel, but I watch the all goal show on On Demand, and the guy cracks me up. Like after a goal one time, he exclaimed in such an enthusiastic vioce "He's got a walky-talky streight to HEAVEN!!!" Best commentary ever.

I'm happy Andy Gray will be doing the ESPN coverage for this tourney
I'll take what I can get
Awesome. Taping Russia's 6/10 game against Spain (though I really wish I could watch it live).
Don't have to work on 6/14, gonna catch that one.
And just took 6/18 off to catch their game against Sweden. Should be a jolly good time, both should be out of it by then. ha ha.
My comments on ESPN's Euro 2008 coverage.
More Andy Gray and less Julie "Queen Obvious" Foudy please
And for the love of God, they really need to stop the non footy related crap in between matches. I can understand the Jim McKay obituary tribute since he passed away, but I really don't give a flying fuck about the Triple Crown.
Having said that...
I really like the announcers in today's matches. Having Andy Gray do the matches is like a breath of fresh air. It's not the best, but I can happily watch the games and not throw my remote in disgust over the commentary.

I'll give credit when it's due....
ESPN's post game commentary is way better today than yesterday. Everyone is actually giving insightful commentary for once, but more importantly....THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!

At the very least, I can tolerate it.
I've never seen that ESPN Axis thing until yesterday, that was pretty awesome.
axis is cool... ill give ya that... but the in-game commentary was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!
On espen deportes mario kempes is the guy who narrates... not a bad guy to narrate the game along some mexican guy who is good as well.
