WMC or Ultra Music

I know it is too in advance but I was searching for info about the wmc 2009. Then I realized as far as I understand there are two different events like WMC and Ultra Music. Are they the same thing, same date? And also, how does the tix work? If I purchase the WMC pass can I as well get in to the events of Ultra Music. On the website It says $129 two day pass. Does that mean I see AvB and other DJ with no other payments.

Should I also buy a pass in advance or I should just go to Miami and purchase the tix at the doors?

ummm... in short... wmc is a whole week of parties taking over basically every club and hotel in south beach and downtown miami. ultra is only one event out of literally hundreds to choose from.

wmc is a week usually towards the end of march, typically starting on a tuesday and ending the following sunday. ultra music festival is always the closing weekend of the wmc week, so they are at the same time. to my understanding, the wmc pass is only for the OFFICIAL wmc events, but there are tons of other events with huge djs playing virtually in every club in miami.

it is highly recommended that what ever events you plan on going to, that you purchase the tickets in advance. they are usually cheaper that way, and also saves a lot of hassle when trying to get into the club.

note that during this week, a lot of the clubs are packed! so if you plan on going anywhere that AvB is going, get there as early as possible, because it will seriously be impossible to step inside the club otherwise.

well at least from my time which has been only a few years. it should be safe to say at least that it's always during wmc?
