I've been wondering the same thing.

Posted by iammesol on Jun-02-2008 19:47:

I'm honestly not sure why it got taken off, but I do know there is a vocal version coming soon.

Interesting.

Someone find out, because I was going to finally buy this the other day as well.

Got licensed for release on Data Records, so the Pryda release was pulled from Beatport.

oh I didn't think about the legality of that. Thanks, Fury.

if they would simply add the 'Finally' acapella by KOT, it would already be nuff

The vocalists he's told me he wants are epic win, so don't wtf just yet. I can't tell you who they are, but I can tell you that it won't be some gay Justine Suissa deal

Posted by Nyctal on Jun-07-2008 00:37:

Any idea when Data is going to release it?

And seriously, are vocals really necessary?

Posted by iammesol on Jun-07-2008 00:40:

I'm not even sure if they've been recorded or not, but he told me he had just started the process of contracting the singer around when it got pulled. Also, Eric has always wanted a vocal on Pjanoo, so they're necessary to him.

It will be interesting to hear how the vocals fit in.

Anyways, I'm just bitter because I waited too long to pick this up.

Posted by cherrybarry on Jun-07-2008 03:12:

does anyone know why it was released as eric prydz - pjanoo and not under the pryda guise that everyone expected pre-release?

Posted by iammesol on Jun-07-2008 03:14:

Eric Prydz - superduper radio hit a la Call On Me / Remixes
Pryda - Melodic house
Cirez D - Dirty techno
Sheridan - Funky shit yo

I heard this the other day in Xijaro's AH.fm mix. Was going to buy it off of beatport and saw that it wasn't there anymore. Oh well, I'll just have to wait I guess.

Pjanoo is amazing without vocals. I dont really think it needs them

I just played Pjanoo together with Fingers Inc. 'Can you feel it', during the climax of Pjanoo. Sounds quite good, allthough such a classic acapella sounds good with almost all (house) tunes
