Circa Ballroom closed down

Anyone know if Circa Ballroom closed down?? I heard tonight it is closed. Anyone know anything about it

Circa is still open theyre closing the Mirror Ballroom.
They're changing it from a house and homo room to a hiphop room
its big drama .. I think tonights the last Randomland Mirror Ballroom party

According the email Rolyn Chambers sent out ADD doesnt want to promote to a gay crowd anymore and wants to change the image of the club. Its on circa's gay facebook pages too

CiRCA is not known as a gay club...ONE night a week in ONE room there is a party which attract some of the gay crowd, and even then, it is still more of a mixed crowd than mostly gay. If any of what we are hearing is true, A.D.D can go F themselves. I hope the new hip hop room fails, although it probably won't. If CiRCA was sincere when they said they wanted an all inclusive club where EVERYONE can party together, they should get rid of A.D.D...Although that probably won't happen either.

Its Sad if the Gay ballroom fridays is over
The room had a really nice mixed crowd vibe very reminiscent of industry in its day where gays and straight mixed free and happy

i am also a little suprised as Circa had always touted itself as Gay friendly and Peter had wanted to keep a mixed/gay friendly crowd and the full time staff is approx 50:50 mix of straight gay too

meh. i thikn the mjority of people will be for it .. gay ppl should stay in gay clubs. lol. on the gay street and thats it.. i dont wanna see that shit when i go out..
