USC 11 - Seattle
i did a search and didn't find anything.... and looked back through 6 pages of threads and didn't see anything.
biggest electronic event of the year in Seattle and no thread on it? seriously? It is TONIGHT
is anyone going to this show?
Not I. Not exactly the type of electronic music I'm into (check out the Decibel Festival, Shameless and Broken Disco crews). Plus, I disagree with the way USC handles themselves and don't feel they deserve my money. But, that's a whole 'nother rant I don't really want to get into. *shrug*
Have fun if you're heading out to it, though.

Radio Slave and Quiet Village this Wednesday sounds a lot better than that does.

| Originally posted by ABTsportsline where is radio slave playing? i'm not a big fan of how USC does things, but its really all we got up here at this point, so i take what i can get. plus i HATE ticketmaster, and USC is the only promotional group that still uses ticketmaster for electronic events up here, and that is epic FAIL. i much prefer brownpapertickets. so anyway i went and bought the tickets directly from Qwest Field. I had to pay for gas, but that beats the $20 service charge you end up paying with ticketcrapper. |

thanks for the info, i'll check out NWTekno
as far as the show, the music was good.... but as usual, USC jacked everything up. for starters they only had two places serving liquor (for a show of 7k+ people), and each bar had two bartenders. then they had two larger VIP areas with their own bars, with each bar i noticed having 3 bartenders, although there were only maybe 200 VIP'ers.
then, to make matters worse, they RAN OUT of beer, wine, and liquor wayyy before last call. freakin lame. How can they, who throw this show every year, NOT know how much everyone will consume? freaking lame. As usual, i hate USC. the only redeeming factor is they bring big-name guys like Tiesto & PvD here (if they didn't, no one else would apparently).
ugh, damn you double-edged sword!
