Well, it's certainly been a while since I've even touched anything on this site! I let life get in the way, and no guarantee it won't happen again....

DJing took a back seat for some months, but it doesn't mean it died for me. Far from it actually. I've been busy concentrating on other Musical interests, and I'm proud to present my very first Promotional Mix in nearly 12!

This latest mix came out partly from frustation and the need for some self therapy, hence it's name 'Summer Therapy'. The days are getting longer and warmer, finally, and this mix embodies what summer is to me. Kicking the set off is a fantastic Deep House track by Erlend Oye, and the set progresses through old and new-ish until finishing up with a few tracks that set the tone for a killer night out!

good stuff dude! Positive feelings throughout the mix and some great tracks in here! That Ground Control track is siiick! And Carl B track near the end also caught my attention. If it comes to mixing, excellent beat matching as usual There is something about phrasing in Markus > Markus transition.

Thanks for the positive words on the mix! I've loved Michael Badal's work and that Ground Control Remix of his has to be his best work to date. The piano is perfect for the track.

I'm glad you enjoyed the mixing, I was pleasantly surprised overall as well, lol. The EQing throughout I found to be rough, I'll have to work on that.

was good shit, man. honestly, wasn't a fan of the last track (personal taste), but everything else was solid!

Glad you liked *most* of the mix. The last track is one of my favs, guess it can't be everyone's! LOL.

Finished listening to your set a few mins ago. Some nice tunes in there (actually tune #8 has given me some nice inspirations for dj'in & producing ).

But your set as a whole didn't really make me go nuts if you get what I mean (too lazy too find online translator now). Maybe it was a bit too housy for my liking or toooo relaxed...

Don't know what to say about it further, anyways the beatmatching definately was really good!

Glad you enjoyed the mix overall! 'Daydream' is a great song, a little old now, but still class.

The set wasn't intended to make you go nuts, lol. It was more of a chilled out trance to kick the summer off. Some mild therapy,

I'm only at around 30 minutes in the mix, but so far it is a nice flowing easy listening one. Perfect for some Friday afternoon work at the office when you can feel that you will finish within some hours.

Cheers for the kind words! You captured the motive behind the mix perfectly. It's meant to be played late afternoon/early evening on a sunny friday afternoon as you start to unwind for the weekend!
