Exclamation Obama leaves Trinity United Church of Christ

OBAMA LEAVING TRINITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST

Yesterday Obama apparently sent a letter to Trinity United Church of Christ, home of the infamous Jeremiah Wright, saying that he has resigned his membership in the church -- presumably to distance himself further from Wright and also from the more recent comments by Michael Pfleger:

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/0...hip-in-chicago/

I am also hearing (via another board) that this was reported minutes ago on CNN.

-----

Wondering how this will be viewed in light of Obama's comments that he could "no more disown [Reverend Wright] than I can disown the black community"...

CNN now has the story up:

I wonder how much you can have looked into the different candidates if your voting preferences are being influenced by "Obama is a Muslim" chain e-mails...

Mass dissemination of misinformation is the cornerstone of American Democracy.

I've yet to hear when you and rob are planning to stop using your cars. Wait, you're not. /// flips open dictionary, looks under H for "hypocryte" ///

Who said anything about not using cars? I'm not even going to carry this on here, it was pointless in that other thread and it's pointless here. You're clearly unable to grasp any semblance of sense or logic here.

P.S. If you're going to call me a hypocrite, at least spell it right.

Ah, nothing like a spelling nazzi to invalidate an entire argument on a basis of a well-caught spelling error. You win one internetz.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut.... I must take it away, as you fail reading and comprehension. The quote RJT typed is rather clear in my sig. Which part of it have I not grasped? The part about RJT proclaiming we don't need gas or "devices" that consume it? If I am not mistaken, RJT did not take a trip to Amsterdam on a steamboat nor sailboat. I do believe he flew over there. A plane, last I checked, uses gasoline. Of course, using RJT's statemet I'd dare to say he was implying that airplanes fall in that category of things that rely on oil.

Please, help me out here - I'm desparately trying to understand your fucking point but I just don't have enough ganja to smoke myself that retarded to make sense of what you just farted out. So, spell it out for me, genious.

The only point in Rob's post that I disagree with is the comment about cars. The oil and gasoline bit, on the other hand, I do agree with. Finding an alternative fuel source that's actually sufficient and then using it in cars and planes is the correct way to go about it. We can still have cars, planes and whatever the fuck else you want, but by no means do we need oil and gasoline.

But as I said, I'm not going to carry this on here. If you choose to continue to disagree, then have fun in your little bubble.

Ok, I'll repeat my request in small words even you can understand...

PROVE

YOUR

POINT

However, you and I both know you won't because you aint got shit. I am pretty confident in saying that we're at least 20 years away from a mass-produced, oil-free, efficient and reliable, let alone VIABLE
alternatives to internal-combustion engine in our conveyances. Aviation I'd say is at least 30 years away.

So, back to you. If you ain't got shit to say, I'll just retreat to my little bubble you're so overwhelmingly deny exists. It's called "REALITY" (until further notice) and based on your comments, it is obvious there's no room for you in it. Though, I'd like to live in yours and RJT fantasy land - sounds cool. Do you guys have electric flying saucers yet - like the Jetsons? I've always wanted one.

Ahh, so you think that Rob and I are referring to at this very precise moment? Well then, let me quote you here and use it in response to your own post...

I didn't say, "We have found one but we're stupid and don't use it," did I? Neither did Rob. "Finding" means that, if actively worked on, one can produce a solution over a somewhat short period of time.

And here you are getting after me for not reading correctly.
