Blue Cheese & Jalapeno Burger

Give this a go if/when you can. Turned out fantastic.
I mixed in crumbled blue cheese, dried chopped jalapenos ( use fresh if you can) montreal seasoning, dried oinions, Worcestershire sause and fold in.

I made my patties fat, so when it does shrink its still a good size and it it wont dry out and turn into a hockey puck.

Im not a fan of mayo so I make this mix of thousand island and tobasco as a spread.

Add what you like, I used pepper jack for cheese but Im sure there can be a few other items that will work well. Its not very hot at all but the flavor is there. Ive been trying new things to get it just right and this is damn close to being what I was going for.

Just soooo yummy.

Meat in general doesnt photograph well. If shit tasted like this Id eat my own shit on a daily basis.

I've lived in montreal my whole life and I haven't a clue what the crap 'montreal seasoning' is.

Posted by L.E.N. on Jun-01-2008 00:39:

From what Ive heard is that its an old mix of spices that Montreal jews used. I dont care what name is on it...the shit works. I enjoy your fancy "canadian bacon" too.

Looks awesome.

And, now I'm hungry.

I want that right now. *salivates*

there is more fat in that than in rosie odonell's head.

Burgers arent really known to be a "healthy" meal. I suppose using buffalo or ground turkey, but anding crumbled blue cheese would offset that anyways. Gotta have a little fat in the meat so it stays juicy.

Posted by nchs09 on Jun-01-2008 07:05:

Today i had a blue cheese, bacon, jalapeno, avocado & sausage omelet with a side order of gritz...

Posted by emc^2 on Jun-01-2008 07:08:

hoooooly shit! Thats a fucking colon-buster. If I had this burger, it be like shitting a fire-breathing dragon, head first, while he's spewing fire out of your asshole. This thing is about to give me mad shits, just looking at it. Not that I ridiculeits gourmet appeal, it is just that my body would totally reject it faster than I'd be able to pull my pants down.

Posted by L.E.N. on Jun-01-2008 07:23:

Its not even that spicy. I think Im going to grill up some bellpepper the next round. Not quite a colon buster though...bacon and butter are required to even attempt such a feat.
